I need to know what gulfport fl nickname/ motto is

What is the town motto? (Orlando -- "The City Beautiful")

i am trying to find out what people have named Gulfport fl.
i have seen "old florida" but it does not seem right. or can i just use st petersburg nick name sunshine city or st pete. please help me out.

The official motto is "always in season." I was unable to find a nickname. The official site for Gulfport does not seem to allow e-mail inquiries, or I would have offered that.

Here is what Wikipedia says about the origin of the name: The town was originally named Disston City in 1884 when Hamilton Disston purchased land here. The United States Postal Service would not recognize the name as it conflicted with a town in Hillsborough County. Instead, it was named Bonifacio. In 1890, the town name was changed to Veteran City. Finally, in 1910, the name officially changed to Gulfport.

I would guess from that history that no one actually "named" the town, it just sort of happened.
