¾ ͭ ͪ of Russia's area is to the east of Urals & so technically in Asia with ¼ ͭ ͪ in Europe, that constitutes exactly the eastern half of Europe (there are 43 countries in the western half of Europe). Remember well that Europe is a notion that is artificially created by the Europeans. It is not a continent. So don't try to fit Russia as per this scheme; it is futile & foolish. The continent in Geographical terms is Eurasia.
