or positive value of a.For example |-45| = 45,So for your question, 15-23 = -8, so |15-23| = |-8| = 8-you just do 15-23 which is -8. l-8l just means how far away is it from 0,......
its a review from like a year ago that i have to do, how do you do this?

|15-23| i know you have to change something but what?!

-
|a| means the modulus, or positive value of a.

For example |-45| = 45, also |45| = 45

So for your question, 15-23 = -8, so |15-23| = |-8| = 8

-
you just do 15-23 which is -8. l-8l just means how far away is it from 0, and its 8. same thing if the number is positive. (the answer is 8)

-
you dont have to change anything in this one cuz it dont have = or <

|15-23|

|-8|

positive 8 is your final answer

-
8
