MATH HELP PLZ??????

ok so i take the 2nd part of m final tomarow in math and i blew the first part so i need to get an A on second. so, i need help with somethings on the review to answer so i can study, person who helps most get 10 points so plz?


What is median?

Solve for x: 2.4x=14.4

Solve for x: x+9/10=1/4

How do you do peremiter and area and a good way to memorize it?

i have more but there like hard to put in the question so answer those please and thanks you :D

sort it....

[34, 54, 65, 65, 76, 87]

even number of items, take mean of middle two....

(65 + 65)/2 = 65

Get x all by itself. Divide both sides by the constant factor of x, 2.4. Remember that whatever you do to one side you must do to the other.

(2.4*x)/2.4 = 14.4/2.4
x = 6

Again, get x by itself. Subtract 9/10 from both sides.

x + 9/10 - 9/10 = 1/4 - 9/10

Find the LCM (Least Common Multiple) of the denominators (4 and 10) to subtract 1/4 and 9/10: it's 20

x + 9/10 - 9/10 = 5/20 - 18/20
x = -13/20

The median is the middle number

Divide both sides by 2.4

subtract 9/10 from both sides, but convert both to the same denominator
The factors of 10 are 2 and 5............factors of 4 are 2 and 2........so the lowest common multiple is 2 *2 * 5 or 20 ...........simple rule is ..........each prime number used, the most number of times, it occurs
