in a triangle the measure of the first angle is twice the measure of the second angle increased by 5. find the expression for the third angle?

so the total degrees in a triangle is 180 so you know it all has to add up to that.

so far you have 180 = x+5 + x + __

so the expression is to solve for the blank

subtract: 180 - 5 -2x

simplify: 175 - 2x
