Why is f(x) = 3x^3 + 2x - 5 Not an Odd Function

It's listed as Neither. Why is that so? If you plug in a negative one, the 3 and the 2 turn negative, right?

No because negative one squared equals one multiplied by three keeps the three positive you always do exponents first
