-You would do 100x +200 because you have to include the leaves that are already fallen down.4800 leaves × 1 day/100 leaves = 49 days-neither, 200 were already on the ground, 5000-200=100x-Make it easy.4800 = 100x.There are only 4800 leaves on the tree as 200 are on the ground.......
100 leaves fall off a tree per day there were 200 leaves already on the ground the tree has a total of 5000 leaves how many days till the tree loses all its leaves? Would I do 5000=100x-200 or 5000=100x+200

-
The second one because 200 have already fallen so you add those to what will still fall to get 5000.

You would do 100x +200 because you have to include the leaves that are already fallen down.

-
leaves still on tree = 5000 - 200 = 4800
4800 leaves × 1 day/100 leaves = 49 days

-
neither, 200 were already on the ground, 5000-200=100x

-
Make it easy. 4800 = 100x. There are only 4800 leaves on the tree as 200 are on the ground.
