Now you have two distribute the 4x, and the 3x to the appropriate sets of parentheses.28x^2 + 36x + 12x - 24x.Now, collect like terms.28x^2 + 24x.......
It would really help if the steps are shown!!!

When i put something like X^2, I mean "x squared"

4x(7x+9)3x(4-8
Now you have two distribute the 4x, and the 3x to the appropriate sets of parentheses.
28x^2 + 36x + 12x - 24x.
Now, collect like terms. You end up with:
28x^2 + 24x.
(Twenty-eight "x"squared plus twenty-four "x")

If you wish to factor, find the greatest common factor, which is 4x, then divide everything by this number:
4x(7x + 6)

-
distribute, then combine like terms

28x^2+36x + 12x-24x

28x^2+24x

factor out an X :
x(28x+24)
