thanks.$4,377.$3,183.$1,......
I suck at math and dont get anything, please help me by doing the work and finding the answer for this question, thanks.

The regional Tupperware dealers earned these commissions last month:

$4,377.47
$3,183.76
$1,970.16
$2,270.88
$3,860.06
$2,508.55
$1,569.64
$4,205.30
$1,663.68
$3,960.71

What was the mean commission earned? Round your answers to the nearest cents.

The "mean" is the "average" you're used to, where you ADD UP ALL the numbers and then DIVIDE by the number of numbers.
1. $4,377.47
2. $3,183.76
3. $1,970.16
4. $2,270.88
5. $3,860.06
6. $2,508.55
7. $1,569.64
8. $4,205.30
9. $1,663.68
10. $3,960.71
= $29, 570.21

$29,570.21 / 10 = $2957.021 (if you round it off = $2957) This is now your MEAN ^_^

Mean is the same thing as average. Just add 'em up and divide by how many there are. So:
4377.47+3183.76+1970.16+2270.88+3860.06… and 29,570.21/10= 2,957.021 which rounded to the nearest cent would be $2,957.02.
