Subsitute the points into the equation

does -7*3 + 16*4 = 36, if so, then (-7, 16) is on the plane.

Similarly for the other point.

rewrite the equation as 3x + 4y - 36 = 0
the substitute x and y with (4,6) or (-7, 16)

3(4) + 4(6) - 36 = 0
12 + 24 - 36 = 0
36 - 36 = 0

therefore B lies on the line 3x+4y=36
