Help!!! I need to figure out this maths problem!!

(1+2) x 2 - 5 = ?

(1+2) =3

3X2 = 6

6-5=1

The order of operation is as follow:

First Inside the Pranteses
then Power
aftre that X and /
Finally + and -.

(1+2) x 2 - 5 = ?
(3) x 2 - 5 = ?
6 - 5 = ?
Answer is 1

(1+2) x 2 - 5 = 3 x 2 - 5 = 6 - 5 = 1

Use PEMDAS.

(1+2) = 3

3 x 2 = 6

6 - 5 = 1
