How do you sketch a graph with a given gradient

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 12-03-13] [Hit: ]
7). Draw the line through those two points.......
I don't get it.

1. Sketch a graph of a line with gradient 1

2. Sketch a graph of a line with gradient 0 which passes through the point (1,6)

I don't even get how to plot the graph.

A gradient (or slope) of 1 means that the graph increases by 1 unit of y for each 1-unit increase in x.

For the first question, plot a point at the origin (0, 0) and a second point at (1, 1). Draw the line through those two points.

For the second question, plot a point at (1, 6) and a second point at (2, 7). Draw the line through those two points.
