I have never got past 5 before making a trip to the Emergency Room. I have always started out with at least 200, I keep them in my bedroom, it smells a little raunchy after a day or so but hang in there, you get used to it.
Edit, you guys must have some healthy fats cats, my estimate is based on skinny strays - maybe I should fatten them up.
