What is 1 + 1 equal to

My friend keeps asking me this question. I say 2 and he says that I'm wrong.

In Base 3 or more the answer in always 2

In Base 2 the answer is 10(base 2)

In base 1 the digit 1 does not exists so you can not have the problem 1 + 1

10 if in binary
2 if in decimal or hexadecimal or any number system where the base is > 2.
11 if it's in unary (kinda like tally marks)

hahahaha answer him 11, i think your friend is joking you.. i usually ask that question to my younger brother..
