How do I find the perimeter of a triangle given three points

............
I am trying to find the perimeter of a triangle,
and I am given these points:

A (3, 5)
B (-2, 10)
C (1, -1)

-
find the distances of its point using distance formula then add

d = √[(x-x1)²+√(y - y1)²]

A( 3, 5), B (-2, 10) , C (1,-1)

Perimeter = distance AB + distance AC + distance BC
distance AB = √[(x-x1)²+ (y-y1)²]
..................= √[(3+2)²+(5-10)²]
..................= √[25+25]
..................= √50
.................. = 5√2

distance AC = √[(3-1)²+(5+1)²]
..................= √[(4+36]
..................= √40
................. = 2√10

distance BC = √[(-2-1)²+(10+1)²]
.................. = √[9+121]
................... = √130

Perimeter = 5√2 + 2√10 + √130
Perimeter = 7.07 + 6.32 + 11.40
Perimeter = 24.79
-----------------------------
JUST distance formula then ADD..hope it hepls

-
you may not be able to just plot these and measure the lines.
if that doesnt work use the distance formula; d=the square root of ((x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2)
do this for all three distances and then add them together

Good luckkk

-
Use the distance formula between each point.

For help on the distance formula.

-
graph the points.
connect the points with lines.
find the lengths of each od the sides.
add them to find the perimeter.

-
1. Plot the points
2. Connect them into a triangle
3. Count how long each side is
4. Add the three sides together
