y = 19.6 ft => its far away more then the high of truck.......
A semi elliptic archway has a height of 20 ft and a width of 50 ft. Can a truck 14 ft high and 10 ft wide drive under the archway without going into the other lane?

An ellipse formula is ((x-h)^2)/a^2)+((y-k)^2/b^2)=1

-
((x-h)^2)/a^2)+((y-k)^2/b^2)=1
assume center (0,0)
a = 25, b= 20
truck wide 10 ft, make 1/2 be 5 ft
5^2 /25^2 + y^2 / 20^2 = 1
solving
y = 19.6 ft => it's far away more then the high of truck.
