Can you please solve it algebraically, without using the substitution method (I dont know how to use the substitution method)?? I dont understand how to find at all....heres the function:

y = 3secxtanx

Also the question asks to find the curves area above the x-axis from x = -pi/6 to x = pi/3

Please help...

3 secx + C

Derivative of secx is just secxtanx

Then evaluate using your x-values-- you should be able to handle that part ;)
