Basic things while solving this are

1) You have to solve it for x
2) Always take x on your left side and rest on the right side
3) Sign changes + becomes -, - becomes +, * becomes /, / becomes *

now

2x+5=15
2x=15-5
2x=10
x=10/5
x=2 (Ans)

2x-5= 15
2x=15+5
2x=20
x=20/2
x=10 (Ans)

3x+15= 45
3x=45-15
3x=30
x= 30/3
x=10(Ans)

2x+15/25= 45/15
2x + 3/5 = 3 just simplifying the fractions
2x =3-3/5
2x =12/5
x=12/(5*2)
x=6/5 (ans)

do the others similarly

2x-6/8= 9

2x+16= 24

Thank you I hope you understand :)

1)2x+5=15

Solution:2x+5=15
2x=15-5(when +5 is shifted to otherside of = side the sign of the no changes)
2x=10
x=10/2(dividing by 2 throughout)
therefore x=5

similarlyi'll do the 4th sum
2x+15/25=45/15
Solution:2x=45/15-15/25
2x=3-3/5
10x=15-3(Multiplying by 5 throughout)
10x=12
x=12/10
x=1.2

-
x=5
x=10
x=10
I need my calculator for this...lol. Basically, just move whatever x add or subtract to the other side, then you will be left with x = something. Good luck!

-
x=5
x=10
x=10
x=6/5
x=4
x=4
