can anyone solve this ? 1/2[6-4 to the second power]
So when you say its - one half times six minus four to the second power.

1/2 * (6-4)^2 = 1/2 * (2^2)
..................= 1/2 * (4)
..................= 2

if 1/2 * (6-4^2), then
=1/2 * (6-16)
=1/2 * (-10)
= -5

We solve equations, there is no equation here, only a computation

½(6 ‒ 4²) = ½(6 – 16) = ½(-10) = -5

Just follow the order of operations rules.
