Idk how to do this but my answer ended up to -0.42? Is this right or am I doing someti=hing wrong?

This is my answer but I'm not sure if it is right.
0.5 m/s *180= 90m
0.7 m/s *75= 52.5m
90+52.5= 142.5m

That adds up to 0.
For the second one, you have to subtract them, because you descended (went down) and then ascended (went up). So it's 90 - 52.5 = 37.5 feet below the surface.

in question b you should have used -0.5m/s giving -90m then add 52.5 as the sub goes up giving a final depth of (-90+52.5) or -37.5m
