he sells 380 pretzels for a profit of $210.A. Create the linear model for profit, in terms of the number of hot pretzels, H. Model must be in slope intercept form.......
Harry decides to start a business selling hot pretzels. One week, he sells 460 hot pretzels and makes a profit of $240. Another week, he sells 380 pretzels for a profit of $210.

A. Create the linear model for profit, in terms of the number of hot pretzels, H. Model must be in slope intercept form.
I got PROFIT=(3/8)H, but my teacher said I was missing the +_____ (y intercept)

B. Slope=(3/8) that one's easy......

C. Y intercept? Real-world meaning?

Please help me! Once I have the linear model I think I can do the rest.

-
slope = (210 - 240)/(380 - 460) = -30/-80 = 3/8
P - P1 = m(H - H1)
P - 240 = 3/8(H - 460)
P = 3/8*H + 240 - 172.5
P = 3/8*H + 67.5
y-intercept = 67.5
