or (1510/60=25.17) 25.......
the wheel of a car has radius of 0.29m and it is being rotated at 830 revolutions per minute. Determine the speed at which the outer edge of the wheel is moving
Show the calculations..

-
circumference=2(pi)r
circumference=2(pi)(.29)
circumference=1.82 meters.
This means for every revolution, the outside is moving 1.82 meters. Now, just multiply that by the amount of revolutions per minute:
1.82(830)=1510.6
The outside is going 1510 meters per minute, or (1510/60=25.17) 25.17 m/s
