I need a really good illness an an excuse for missing class.

I am very serious about this class and am struggling to get an A right now, however I really can not make it to class this week (2 days). I have never missed a class yet or been late and it is almost the end of the semester.

I just e-mailed him how sick I am. he knows i am serious about this class...but I won't be able to make it on the thursday class either...so I will need to e-mail him again.

What's an illness that can leave you really sick for 4 days??

Say you have a fever, or have been mildly food poisoned, or have a stomach bug or something. You don't need to get into too much detail about it.

Pneumonic plague leaves you really sick for about four days, so that could be a good choice. Bubonic plague tends to last about a week.
