Ive had diarrhea for 3 weeks blood when i go toilet for 8 years on and off

Ive been docters 4 times in 3 weeks send off a stool sample came back with no infection but some white blood cells so i have tto go hospital in 6 weeks to have a camera to see what wrong . The only thing is my docter wont give me anythis to stop diarrhea or stomach pains he gave me pill two weeks ago the dont do much i have to wait till i go hospital in 6 weeks what else can i. Do to help please help

The test you will be having is a colonoscopy.....it is done on a outpatient clinic in the endoscopy unit at the hospital.All I can tell you is that they want you cleaned out before the test is given.A colonscopy is a test done to examine the rectum & the colon(large bowel)During this test the doctor will pass a flexible tube into the rectum to examine these areas & look for any problems such as polyps(abnormal growths of tissue),inflammation .,or to diagnose other diseases.

Omit (stop) dairy from your diet since this leads to bloating & stomach upset.
I am sorry I cannot help you any more.....but you have to go by your doctor's orders so that the test will be successful in completing.

There is no pill to stop the diarrhea. You need colonoscopy.
