Could this be a ghost

So someone knocked on the door, but you didn't answer it and assumed it was a ghost instead of, say, a person. And you didn't get up to see who opened your front door. And your dog heard something. This is not paranormal. This are normal things you're not bothering to check out. Ghosts do not exist. People and rodents do.

from what you are saying it could be ghost. dogs can see ghosts i have watched a show saying that some animals can see them. but sometimes the dog mite react to either the same thing you are or just in tune with your feelings. if it persists definatly get someone professional to investigate it. dont do it yourself as it could be dangerous

That 3am bizzo is intriguing in that's supposed to be the time spirits are the most active so there could be something in that.

Animals are quite perceptive, that's for sure. For example... In a place I lived in when I was young, I was sure my room was haunted but nothing nasty happened. We had a new cat and the first time she went into my room, I closed the door and she went nuts - the back arched, fur out everywhere, hissing... When I opened the door she scuttled out of there as fast as she could go. The entire time we stayed in that place - over three years - that cat never went back into my room.

It does seem like you're getting the typical signs of paranormal activity, that's for sure. It certainly has got your attention which is probably all it wants to do - that "letting you know I'm here" kind of stuff.

Yes the house is haunted but ghosts are not meant for harm. They obviously are trying to wake you up. I think all ghosts should be helped and cared for. I mean they are humans for repeat sake! They are souls that left the human body that came for help. Try and communicate with the ghost a little. When everyone is asleep. Try and tell the ghost this. Tell it alittle more about you so it knows you more and will quit bothering you and tell it your age. And tell the spirit your going to help it. Then the spirit will get excited and will quit bothering you but if you don't help it around three days. The spirit will go back to bothering you and if you tell the spirit that you were lying then it will be sad and will just leave. I suggest you tell it that your going to help it and ask what it needs.
