Can seeing a ghost affect you long term

3. How long has it been since you have witnessed paranormal activity and how often do you think about it?4.How did you react at the time? Would you have reacted differently if you could?5.......
Sorry if this question doesn't make sense but I'm not quite sure how else to phrase it. I'm asking this because my friend was telling me about how her house is haunted and the time her sister saw a ghost in her house. After telling me the story, my friend concluded that she has seen a lot of weird paranormal activity in her house, and it kinda baffled me because she said it in a really casual way.

So my questions are:

1. After seeing a ghost/paranormal sight did you tell anyone?
2. My friend says that you always see ghosts when you are not expecting it, is this true?
3. How long has it been since you have witnessed paranormal activity and how often do you think about it?
4.How did you react at the time? Would you have reacted differently if you could?
5. Do you think the paranormal sighting has affected you? How?

When it comes to having such an encounter with seeing a ghost or any such phenomenon it can affect different people differently. I have had such encounters before and I would be lying if I said it hasn't changed me or affected me in some way. In fact I would say that my very reason by me being here in this section could be directly attributed to my encounters over the years. For me it was not so much something that had negatively affected me but as I look at it, it is more positive as I do try and offer assistance to others as well as share my experiences.

The first time I had an experience, I did not actually believe it to be paranormal but did think it was strange and I was probably more afraid to tell anyone than the experience itself. It wasn't until it happened again with others around that I began to believe it to be a ghost. This time it validated my first experience so I knew I was not crazy and those around me experienced too.

Having such an encounter with a ghost is quite rare and not everyone will have one in their life time. Those who would like to may not and those who don't expect it could so there really is no way of saying who will and who wont. Even if you frequent the most haunted house does not guarantee you will see a ghost but you are more likely to if you do. It is true that they do appear or reveal themselves when you least expect it. Take care.

I don't believe that ghosts exist, so I don't believe it when people say that they've literally seen ghosts. I think people's fear and imagination gets the best of them, and they may truly believe that they are hearing odd sounds, or that strange things are going on...but no one actually 'sees' ghosts.

If I saw a ghost I'd probably be scared of everything, I've never seen a ghost yet and I'm still scared of houses that make noises and stuff so I'd probably be extremely paranoid

She is pulling your leg, she did not see a ghost. Tell her to grow up or she will play you for being weak and expect you to back her lies.
