How can I go about experiencing something of the paranormal

I've always been interested in the paranormal. My parents and other family members have experienced things. I haven't.

How do I go about this? I want to experience something so my beliefs in the paranormal can be confirmed.

Honestly, they will show themselves to you. You can't really just go somewhere or anything to experience it. If your family have been experiencing things, you should be able to too. But i don't know if you really want to because anything could be out there, and it could be dangerous...
