A few months ago, I was home alone in the kitchen. I looked into the living room and there was a 5-7 year old girl sitting on the couch, a spirit or ghost. She had long black hair with bangs and was wearing a white cover-up and sunglasses. She was hugging her knees and had her head on them. I told my friend and that was it. Yesterday, my friend told my brother about it because she assumed that he knew. Turns out he has seen her before too, sitting in the same position, but next to the couch instead of on it. He described her the same way I did but without sunglasses. Also, he threw a party that night and a friend of his said, "I'm not a psychic or anything, but I'm getting a negative energy in this area in the house." She was in the living room.
All of these events are really related and I've never experienced something like this. My brother and I are both Atheists, so this is really shaking us up. Does anyone have any experience with something like this? We don't know what to do. Please help.

I lived in a house with a ghost as well, just don't be afraid of it , shes not going to do any harm.
If you bring a priest into your house to bless it, it will probably not work. i suggest you get holy water and sprinkle a tiny bit around the corners of every room while saying a prayer. this will only work if you believe in it . The only reason she keeps showing up to you is because shes asking for your help to get into "the other side", the only way you can help her is trough prayer, but believe me, it wont work if you don't believe in it.
If all else fails, call a professional physic.

I havent seen a spirit like that, but i had activity in my house after visiting a haunted house. My advise would be to contact a medium, thats what i did. Luckily i had a kind spirit that connected with me in some way and followed me home (according to the medium also a black haired girl like your ghost). Rarely bothers me after i talket with the medium.
