79/5 = 3.=>Total floors = 4+4 = 8th floor-Easy answer- the balloons are going 20m every 84s.......
Roger sees water balloons fall past his window. He notices that each balloon strikes the sidewalk 0.84s after passing his window. Roger's room is on the fourth floor, 20m above the sidewalk.

A. How fast are the balloons traveling when they pass Roger's window?

B. Assuming the balloons are being released from rest, from what floor are they being released? Each floor of the dorm is 5.0m high.

A) By h = ut + 1/2gt^2
=>20 = u x 0.84 + 1/2 x 9.8 x (0.84)^2
=>u = 19.69 m/s
B) By v^2 = u^2 + 2gh
=>(19.69)^2 = 0 + 2 x 9.8 x h
=>h = 19.79 m
=>floors = 19.79/5 = 3.96 ≈ 4th
=>Total floors = 4+4 = 8th floor
