-1/9(x-27)+1/3(x+3)=x+25

-
-1/9(x - 27) + 1/3(x + 3) = x + 25
(27 - x) + 3x + 9 = 9x + 225
2x - 9x = 225 - 36
-7x = 189
x = -27

-
You multiply the two outside numbers with the ones in the perenthesis then you add like integers and move the 25 over and the x to the other side and what grade is this homework for? I could do this in my head I'm in tenth grade by the way

-
-[1/9(x-27)+1/3(x+3)=x+25]

multiply numerators by 9:

-9/9(x - 27) - 9/3(x + 3) = -9(x + 25)

-x + 27 -3x - 9 = -9x - 225

-4x + 18 = -9x -225

5x = - 243

x = -243/5

-
This has to do with Bodmas.you just have to solve the ones in the brackets afterwhich you divide and then multiply.After that you add and substract after which you collect like terms and your result will be "x=1/2"
