5 A per dryer so two would draw 25 A, three would draw 37.5 A and trip the breaker.-Wrong .........
A typical household circuit is capable of carrying 30.0 A of current at 120 V before the circuit breaker will trip. How many 1500-W hair dryers can run off one such circuit?

-
1500/120 = 12.5 A per dryer so two would draw 25 A, three would draw 37.5 A and trip the breaker.

Wrong ...a typical household circuit can only carry a 20 amp load and it is rated for 2400watts. And you can only put 16.0 amps on the breaker.household current delivery is rated at 80% full load and the breaker as it ages will nuisance trip when carrying load over 2000 Watts at 120volts.Only 11500watt dryer can be used at a time
