What would make a tornado progress toward the southeast instead of the usual northeast

The tornado tracks pretty much along with the parent thunderstorm. The parent thunderstorm moves along with the average mid-level wind flow, which in this case appears to have been northwesterly. Westerly mid-level flow is also possible and the propagation of the storm could have allowed it to turn right and move southeast.
