My Quails and Pheasants started to lay eggs and i was wondering how long can i leave them outside for until i can put them in the incubator, because i am waiting until i have 8-12 eggs then i will put them in the incubator. does anyone know?

The temperature in the incubator for pheasant eggs is 99.5 degrees fahrenheit. If u want to keep in sun..dont use direct sun..The sun's heat can raise the temperature high enough to kill the developing embryos.SO better opt for bantam hens or incubators...links with enuf information....
They will take their time...but better confirm..whether they are fertilized or not....bcoz..unfertilized one cant hatch..releasing a baby ones..
