COCKROACH?!? HELP! 10 points to best!

ok i know this is a common question, but what can i do if there are cockroaches that come out at night at my moms house? im 15, and i hate cockroaches. i killed one yesterday because it came out in the afternoon, but my
mom saw like 3 and i saw one. i cant sleep, and the exterminator cant come any sooner than 2 weeks so what can i do and where can i sleep and what can i eat for 2 weeks? should i stay with my dad? he lives nearby. im also deathly afraid of throw up and apparently roaches spread diseases that make people throw up.
anyway, do you have any suggestions? they are american cockroaches.

D.E. diatomaceous earth (food grade) will kill them if they walk through it, and its completely safe for you to eat, yet alone be around. (Its made up of plankton and diatome shells wich are microscopically sharp as heck and shred the exoskelletons of bugs so they dry up). Make a safe zone and wait! (note it may take 10 hrs for a bug who has come into contact with the powder to die but understand its NOT a poison or chemical so its naturally cutting the damn thing up BUT IT WILL DIE!)
Hope it helps dude. You'll probly wanna get it even after the Exterminator comes. The first few weeks after the spray the bugs can still come on strong.. Cockroachs are one of the most adaptable bugs around along with bedbugs.(DE kills both if u let it)

Find there source of entry and bug spray the crap out of it. Then kill what's left in the house. To keep them from reentering, block their entry way and prey you never see them again.
