From the big bang. A large explosion.

Faith is a belief in things not seen. Science can be proven (empiricism). Until it can be proven, its just a theory. Right now the M-brane (M-Theory, a part of String Theory) says that to membranes collided to form our Universe. Its a good theory and answers most of the basic questions about our universe, such as size, shape and age. There's absolutely no reason God couldn't have chose where the branes came together to form our universe. We just don't know. After all, God made it out of something.

Personally, until God says, "um, unhuh, no, didn't do it that way" then there's no reason not to keep studying the physical sciences. THAT'S the entire point. God wants us to get our own answers, not supply them to us. All good parents raise children who can fend and figure out things for themselves and from time-to-time make mistakes and self-correct.

CHRISTIANS and atheists believe the Universe started with the Big Bang.

I believe that God set up the laws of physics. God caused the Big Bang and then the laws of physics took over and have been running the Universe since then.

God IS physics, and a lot more. The laws of physics are Gods laws. They cannot be violated. God's moral laws are violated everyday. No one really knows what God's moral laws really are.

For the atheists: God was created by humans to explain unexplainable natural phenomena and that strange tribe of people over there with the different colored skin and weird culture that you'd better kill before they kill you. God is not necessary to create the Universe. That's what Stephen Hawking and his coauthor are saying in his last book. Stephen Hawking is probably an agnostic, which is NOT the same thing as an atheist.

Do you know what REALLY gets me upset? It's the arrogance and ignorance of people just like you
