The moon is orange??!

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 11-06-15] [Hit: ]
I dont know what the exact phenomena is thats causing it, but its nothing to be concerned about. I believe a couple hundred years ago, these were called harvest moons. I dont live in the UK but when the moon comes my way ill take a look for you ;P-The moon can appear brown, red,......

This is also why sunsets look the way they do.

The moon is fine, this happens every once in a while. I don't know what the exact phenomena is that's causing it, but it's nothing to be concerned about. The moon can appear brown, red, orange, yellow, or white. The light from the moon has to pass through our atmosphere, so it can be coloured by dust, smoke, and pollution in our air.
Volcanic dust can cause exceptionally spectacular sunsets and a very orange moon.

The moon is orange becuz it's either cuz just an eclipse happened or it's gonna happen its the suns light reflecting off the moon which in eclipses the moon always turns orange!:) hoped that helped!:)

Just like it is common to see an orange sunset or sunrise it is common to see an orange moon set or moon rise. It is from dust or smoke in the air.
