Too late.
Einstein has already proven that faster than light speeds are possible. Light speed is usually denoted as "c".

Many are confused about this. If an object is traveling slower than c then it can never reach or exceed c. If it is moving faster than c it can never slow to or move at less than c.
Tachyons are theoretical particles that mover faster than c, but have never been proven to exist. Indeed, it is unknown how to detect them.

► Since humans can never move through space faster than c, we generally ignore the parts of Einsteins equations concerning faster than light speed.

ha i smell a Leupold, when you refer to a proper known you always capitalize it, so if you dog ids named light spell it Light next time, and no in this case l.i.g.h.t. beats youoooooo! but if it was the case of you beating L.i.g.h.t then you would win , haaaa, i feel so awsome

Somebody else is already working on that. They very likely will get the Nobel prize while you are still learning basic physics. They already have a Ph.D. degree. You haven't even graduated from high school yet, have you?

-
Suppose your dog one day decides that she is sick of losing these foot races. She bites your legs, you fall in agony, and Light slowly ambles to the finish ahead of you.

Will they revoke your Nobel Prize?

-
yes of course you will...just do the race again.. ask someone to video you and "light" so they can see it and give you the prize you truly deserve :)

-
You'll get a noble prize if you can prove faster than light particles exist. If tachyons don't exist, then 3.00*10^8 m/s is the cosmic speed limit.

-
Dang that's a slow dog... Too bad you didn't capitalize "light" in your main question. You're telling two different stories. =p lol

-
I give you props for creativity, unless you got the idea from your teacher.

-
Only if you could actually do it.

-
Well I think tha..... whoa your question just travelled faster than light through one eye out the other.

-
This (Y!A) is going to the dogs... ;-))

-
Yup.

I suppose you will.
