Not americans, do you think America in scientifically sense had died

Heres why it seems that America has died scientifically; pop culture. Americas number one thing that is sensationalized is pop culture. Science is still a big part of America, but it is not something that has constant media attention like our pop culture. Our science is there, just as much as anyone elses science.......
I know you probably don't want Americans to answer this, but I as an American will anyways. My stubbornness to answer regardless of this is also equal to the stubbornness of other Americans to propagate their ideals.

Here's why it seems that America has died scientifically; pop culture. America's number one thing that is sensationalized is pop culture. Science is still a big part of America, but it is not something that has constant media attention like our pop culture. Our science is there, just as much as anyone else's science. The only difference is that the entertainment industry says that science is not entertaining, therefor the only people who here about science are the people that actually are interested in it.

I wouldn't say America is scientifically deceased. I would say that the scientifically illiterate are very loud and obnoxious in this country, and having the freedom to express themselves does not slow down that freight train. Some of the top scientists still come from the United States, but as many other nations improve and 'catch up' on the engineering side of things, and science related jobs get outsourced, along with the media not employing any science advisers, a great deal of ignorance gets broadcasted on a perpetual basis.

I AM an United States citizen. YES, the USA IS dying scientifically. I don't know about Canada and South America. The USA needs another civilian version of the GI bill, like it had in the 1960s, 1970s, and early 1980s. Of course, that's not going to happen while the Republicans control the House. Wait l little more than a month to see what happens about raising the debt ceiling. If Congress doesn't comes to its senses and raise the debt ceiling, the current generations, including mine, have still seen NOTHING like the economic depression that my parents lived through and survived.

Sure not, but I must criticize you, you should give more money to NASA instead of financing global wars. If NASA had 1/10 of budget of US Army, we would go for holidays to Mars!
