Why didn't man go to moon for last 32 years? Are they afraid of Aliens

Who would have p;aid for it, what would they have done there, would it have been WORTH the costs?

And might not robots do far better with less environmental support as to future tasks on the moon?


Maybe robots will be doing the initial construction BEFORE we get there, eh?

Two reasons.
1. It's expensive and after the trips we've already made, there's
little or no 'payoff' in more.
2. It's dangerous:
a. We nearly lost one 'mission'.
b. All missions exposed their crews to radiation doses deemed
unhealthy to say the least.
An unexpected solar flare during a mission could kill the crew.

If wars are funded, there is no money to go to the Moon or anywhere else..

The reason we don't have funds and have suffered budget cuts is *because* the US is funding so many wars around the world for the last 32 years.
