Why didn't they go to moon after 6th time? Are they afraid of Aliens?

Coincidentally, there was a man on Coast to Coast A.M. (late night radio show) who hinted that there was something frightening on the moon, and that the moon missions were possibly discontinued for that reason. Or, maybe it's not a coincidence that you're asking this question. Did you listen to the show?

Most people seem to think advances in technology should make it cheaper and safer to go to the Moon now compared in then. But those people are only looking at the advances in COMPUTER technology and not rocket technology. Sadly, while computers are much better and cheaper today, rockets are not. By the way, the same is true of cars and planes and boats. Basically all kinds of transportation have not improved much at all in 40 years, because they are based on the old science of thermodynamics. All kinds of electronics have benefited greatly from the invention of semiconductor devices, starting with the first transistor in 1947, based on the comparatively new science of quantum mechanics. Engineers had learned to fully exploit the science of thermodynamics to make the most efficient chemically fueled engines possible even 40 years ago and there is no room left for more improvement. Engineers have not yet learned how to fully exploit all that quantum mechanics says is possible, so electronics technology still enjoys rapid advances today.

So that means is is still ridiculously expensive and dangerous to go to the Moon today, and even though you don't want to hear it, the government chooses to not spend that much money on space flight.

Travel to Moon is hugely expensive that USA alone was meeting. In 6 trips the Astronauts completed their programmes an there is nothing to do further. Colonisation of Moon that is a pipe dream for the ordinary folks, is not such a welcome proposition. I think if anyone is having an idea of colonisation with humans going there much like 'lemmings' on Norwegian coast, they must banish the thought.
