What are the pictures called that are like a panorama but in a circle that makes it look like a mini planet

I love the way these pictures look and I want to find more of them but I don't know what they are called or what lens is used for them. example pic http://www.easypano.com/images/panoramic_photo_oneshot.jpg

Strangely enough, they're called a "circular panorama". You don't use a special lens to create them; you take a series of photos in a row and edit them together with photo software like Photoshop or GIMP. You wouldn't be able to create that effect with a fish eye camera. It's one of the last things you would want use. Just use a normal camera, download GIMP and install some panorama scripts from the plugin registry...

Edit - A fish eye lens will give you the following effect...

...which is not the same thing at all and is useless for trying to make panoramas.
