Is China taking its fight with the United States into Outer Space?

answers:
rick29148 say: Forty years later ..................................
-
Thirunavukkarasu say: It could not be termed as fight. But it is not easy for China to outperform.
-
T say: China and America are like Luke and Darth Vader
-
Raymond say: The "fight" - in relation to the space program - comes from the USA having vetoed China's participation in ISS and other international space ventures. China is now determined to show it can do it on its own. This started well before Trump, well before Obama. Most Americans don't remember, but China does.

The "fight" with Tantrum Boy is totally separate; it has to do with Americans manufacturing products in China (including Trump) versus Trumps attempt to show that he is "pro-American" despite his efforts to destroy our economy.
-
tham153 say: yes, but more than that, a carefully developed plan to control outer space, and from there ultimately dominate Earth
-
busterwasmycat say: The smart country with plans for a future will see that space is an important strategic consideration. Do you think the US has been ignoring that obvious fact? Why would you expect the competition to miss the obvious?
-
Adullah M say: No need, since Outer Space is so vast that can not be fix as a stage of fighting. It is the unlimited Space for flight of the Space Craft only.
-
Ronald 7 say: NASA has no more fight left, or they would be going to Mars
-
Dkingz say: No
-
RockIt say: I'd like to find an asteroid to redirect and hurl it at China. Blame it on God.
-
frank say: yes ,
-
luis l say: SORRY FIGTH OF WHAT?
I never know usa have the rigth and control to fly outer space
-
oneofmagi@rocketmail.com say: No, somebody the Chang-e is in moon.
-
Emerald say: Don't know. Haven't paid much attention to outer space talk.
-
Fred say: The new little dog has 'one upped' the overweight bloated big dog on the block employing a 'Buck Rogers' ploy, incessantly begging an increasingly reluctant master for small treats in return for old dysfunctional tricks.

.. but then the potatoes may die from Alpha particle bombardment damage.. and the Chinese ever so stellar in end result of a potato blaze in a glory logically light years ahead of the U.S.A.
-
IIIIIII say: That's kinda the impression I got from watching the news too- the silent meaning of what people are revving up to do in a hurry, right. You're thinking what I was thinking. People act like you can't get clues from paying attention- but that's only because some people's higher minds shut off when engaged in hours of gaming. Some higher minds stay active. Everything is predictable because we're now such a small world.
-
timespiral say: The perception of China which at one time was not a technological power still persists in the minds of many. What is true is that China has risen up. Outsourcing high tech jobs over decades to Chinese workers fostered a rapid transformation. It would seem that only cost savings for technology products is what the short sighted consumer cares about... and wall streets focus is on quarterly profits. Long term policy implications care little in the minds of today's voters. Space isn't a private sector domain. Musk would be no where without huge government contracts.
-
Davros say: I think the current spat is the United States with China. Not seen much evidence it's from the other way around.
-
CarolOklaNola say: Yes, but this has been going on for years. What about that rover that died in less than 3 hours. That must have been embarrassing.

The USA and NASA do not own the Moon. The USSR got there first in 1959 with Luna 2.
