Tom S say: Not really, "proof" is not a "scientific thing", evidence is. What we perceive is all just the result of electrochemical reactions in our grey matter. So, I can't prove that you exist, even if you were in front of me slapping me in the face. It could all be some complex illusion or dream. All I can know for sure is that something exists which is doing the thinking. I refer to René Descartes and his famous "cogito ergo sum" statement, which is usually poorly translated in English. Beyond that there is no "proof" of anything.

No there is no proof we exist in other than our minds.
Some films bring up that controversy like " Leviathan."
Question is is not whether the Earth exists but whether mapping actually is accurate or is this continent we are on the only know spot of 'earth'? Fact all that we know is right in our face and "pecking" order is now publically known amongst the commoners supposedly so the orders of the previous king John were followed to a 't' even if historians call him a bit off.
Considering though richard, Charles, Thomas and James shoe the horn when they are fit they did really agree it was that blinking sherrif and mayors!
Businesses approve even those magnate trumpies like having knowledgeable people working for them
And we have a whole knew systemof education to mess around in!
