just like mammals, amphibians, and every living breathing thing on this planet, viruses and bacteria and all that nasty stuff that makes us sick also continues to adapt. They adapt to be resistant to any sort of pesticides, vaccines,......

I might have simply accepted that you did not understand there is no link to evolution here and that it was just some misunderstanding on your part. Then I got to the part of your question about half-person/half-monkey and the asininity of your question became very clear. That is not how evolution works and no such organism is predicted by evolution.

Criticise evolution if you will but criticise what it says not what you have been misled into thinking what it says.

rebeccatoymp say: We keep on getting sicker and sicker because, just like mammals, amphibians, and every living breathing thing on this planet, viruses and bacteria and all that nasty stuff that makes us sick also continues to adapt. They adapt to be resistant to any sort of pesticides, vaccines, medications, etc. Kids that get asthma in really polluted areas aren't able to adapt to such a rapidly growing issue (pollution) fast enough. Considering it takes millions of years, they won't be "immune" to pollution overnight. It would take quite a while before there were very few kids with asthma in polluted areas. If people were to cut down/ stop burning fossil fuels, driving cars, etc. then there would likely be a decrease in asthma in a much shorter time period. As for cancer, most toxins that would cause cancer is tobacco, too much exposure to sun rays, radiation and a ton of other things can cause cancer. As I said before, if you cut down on exposure to these toxins there would likely be decrease in the amount of people with cancer (due to these toxins). As for people who do stay away and don't expose themselves often to these harmful toxins, there is no way to really avoid getting cancer. Cancer is when mitosis flips out and doesn't know when to stop, which isn't something humans and animals are capable of adapting to. And for the half human, half monkey creatures, it's because humans have already adapted and evolved over time. Our time being apes was millions and millions of years ago, we've had plenty of time to evolve, which explains why none of us are half human half monkey. And not everything evolved at the same time! It took millions of years for different species to come around, including humans. Pretty much all animals and plants started evolving as the environment started changing. If a forest full of black trees were populated by black moths (their color used as camouflage for survival) and suddenly the black trees started disappearing and white trees started appearing, over time the moths would change to white, so they can adapt to their environment. And we can definitely find creatures at different stages of evolution, even now! The environment changes, so does everything effected by it. Hope this helps! Sorry for it being so long (:
