Molecular formula of calcium carbonate is CaCO3

Meaning in 2 moles of CaCO3 we have 2 moles of O3 which we can convert to 6 mol of O

Molar mass (# grams in 1 mole) of O is 16.00g/mol

16.00g/mol * 6 mol O = 96.00g



So 2 mol CaCO3 has 96.00g O

1 mole of CaCO3 contains 48gm of oxygen.
1mole=48gm
2mole =X
x is mass of oxygen in 2moles of substance.
x=2 x 48=96gm.
