DNA has a deoxyribose sugar while RNA has a ribose sugar, DNA's bases are A,T,C,G while RNA's bases are A,U,C,G, DNA is a double helix while RNA is a single helix and DNA is primarily for containing genetic information while RNA is post-transcription and is used primarily for protein synthesis.
