High level of Ammonium ions in the urine.. is it Acidosis or Alkalosis

See, dissolved ammonia is a proton acceptor, absorbing hydrogen ion from an aqueous environmento to become ammonium ion. The higher the concentration of hydrogen ion, the greater the formation of ammonium ion which is consequently excreted (cells are permeable to ammonia but not to ammonium ion).-Bacterial infection of the urinary tract.......
Im leaning towards Alkalosis.. but if I am wrong please explain why

Thankyou
