6 kg = 4600 grams.If Density = grams/cc, then: 1 cm^3 = 1 cc.So, 4600 gm/509 cc = 7.553 gms/cc.......
Calculate the specific gravity of a substance that has a mass of 4.6 kg and a volume of 609 cm cubed at 25 degrees C.

It's due tomorrow and I can't figure out how to solve it. please help me! I have to show my work...

Ok, let's make units equal: 4.6 kg = 4600 grams.

If Density = grams/cc, then: 1 cm^3 = 1 cc.

So, 4600 gm/509 cc = 7.553 gms/cc.
