or Australians, we no doubt would have a different convention.BTW, that also is why clocke move the way they do-there wasnt really one person in particular, maps used to have east at the top or west, heck sometimes even south,......
I live in New Zealand and people always visualise us as being on the bottom of the world. But why is this? Who's to say what is the bottom and what is the top? Why can't we be considered the top?

-
The original world cartographers were europeans. Since they lived in the northern hemisphere, and they assumed they were on the top, they just started it that way. Ig the original mapmakers would have been Africans, South americans, or Australians, we no doubt would have a different convention.

BTW, that also is why clocke move the way they do

there wasn't really one person in particular, maps used to have east at the top or west, heck sometimes even south, but eventually north became the slandered.

-
That is the way the world is positioned. New Zealand is in the South and there is nothing you could do about it.

-
I have always considered Mt. Everest to be the top of the world.

-
Gravity toward the coldest place.

-
Because on a globe it's on the bottom. But your right because it could be the top.

-
You can be on top.

Might be fun!

-

-
