to solve ignore the sqrt and focus on sqrt(3) and 9.
since sqrt(3)*sqrt(3)*3 = 9 then sqrt(3)^4 = 9 (hope you follow my logic) and so:

sqrt(3)^(x+1) = sqrt(3)^4^(3x-1)

so x+1 = 4(3x-1) -->PEMDAS

x+1 = 12x-4

5 = 11x

x = 5/11
